Care

Health, safety, and longevity for performers, crew, faire workers, and the scenes they belong to :: warm-ups and recovery, hearing and joints, and care that never mistakes the culture for the problem.

We're building a network of care from the health and performance world, pointed at our people.

Fight Early Death.

The long game

One day ::
circuses of our own.

You've seen the parking-lot carnival :: tired rides, greasy fryers, a crew counting the hours. That lot deserves better. Pop-up circuses where the food is real, the rides are kept, the bands are local, the vendors are neighbors, and the crew is having as much fun as the crowd. A midway a town is glad to see coming and sorry to see go.

That's the tent we're raising toward :: ring by ring, act by act.

About Circus Folk

✴︎

We exist to support the wider circus of performance and the scenes that hold it :: theaters, festivals, Renaissance faires, music venues, streets, studios, clubs, rehearsal rooms, and everywhere people gather to create, practice, perform, and belong.

And we mean all the folk. The old fences between the scenes are coming down :: metalheads at the faire, faire folk at the metal show, goths who love a clown, clowns who love the dark, jesters, jugglers, goblins, puppeteers, pit crews and choir kids. If you make live culture, or hold the room where it happens, you're circus folk. This tent was raised for you.
